But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
– 2 Peter 3:18
In his letter to the church in Ephesus, Paul makes the statement that we are not meant to remain as children, but to grow to become more like Christ (Ephesians 4:14-15). While God calls us to salvation, we are also expected to grow in our spiritual walk with the Lord, bearing good fruit – a sign of our intimate relationship with God Himself.
Just as a farmer must till the land and create opportunities for a harvest to grow, we’d like to invite you to join us to learn how you can grow deeper in your relationship with Christ Jesus, learning to love as he has loved us, to serve as he has served, and to be the salt of the earth and light in the darkness that all Christians are called to be.
Mt. Roberts’ Sunday School program is a great way to fellowship with other believers and be disciplined in becoming more like Christ. However, it’s also a great way to learn how to serve others and work together to carry the Gospel into the world.
Each Wednesday night, we come together for a moment of unified worship before breaking out into age groups for an evening of Bible study. Mt. Roberts would also like to invite you and your family to join us for our evening meal prior to service.
Beginning in May and continuing throughout the summer months, Mt. Roberts hosts monthly Family Night events, bringing the entire body together for a great time of fellowship and bonding. Bring the family and join us as we draw closer to one another while drawing close to Christ together!
